Blaise always took time with his appearance, but today he took a bit more time. Not that Pansy was liable to notice that he made extra sure to get the wrinkles out of his clothing (black slacks with a white pull over shirt) or that he'd added a charm that would repel any fuzz from sticking to his hair. He always wanted to look perfect around her. Pansy deserved perfection that she didn't have to demand.
With that perfection in mind, Blaise went earlier in the day to choose the perfect yellow rose from one of the many bushes at the manor and charmed it to hold until he could present it to her. When Nattie opened the door he moved his hand so one of the leaves could flutter down from the rose onto the floor. It was his way of giving the house elf a small gift without actually giving her one.
Blaise had turned his attention to look at a piece of artwork when he heard Pansy enter the room. "I'd wait forever if I had to," he held the rose out toward her as she approached.
