Harry stepped back slightly, letting Teddy handle this part himself. He was there to foot the bill, and distract Teddy if he went for something more advanced than he was ready for. Other than that, he was content to let Teddy pick out his own broom.
"When I was five! Uncle Harry gave it to me, and Grand was mad at him for a little bit because she thought I was too little, but I wasn't too little, right Uncle Harry?" He looked up at Harry expectantly.
Harry winced at the reminder that Andromeda hadn't been very happy with him gifting Teddy a broom, even a toy broom, without consulting her first. This time he had her full permission. "That's right, kiddo. You're just the right size for a broom, as long as it's the right size for you."
Teddy nodded, satisfied with that. "My old one was a boring brown color, but it has a starburst on the end so that's okay." Teddy looked thoughtfully at Logan. "I liked the starburst. Can I have one again?" He looked like he was about to make a few more demands, so Harry decided it was time to step in.
"Let's see what Logan has in stock, all right? You might find something you like even better." Addressing Logan now he added, "Starbursts optional."
