He grinned, somewhat cheesily (or so he'd been told in the past) as he watched a bond start to form already. There was just something about it, it made him all warm and fuzzy inside.

"It does. And I think she grew up in a magical home, so that's a bonus in that regard." Magical residue and being bred in a magical home always seemed to make any effects even more. THey wouldn't live forever, not any more than a person, witch or wizard or Muggle, could, but their life spans were increased.

"You can. She is for sale, not just adoption, but you get the good-friend discount," he told her with a charming smile. "And we'll get everything she needs. How elaborate of a kennel do you want? We have everything from simple to oh-the-Galleons," he said somewhat wryly.
