Susan was aware of Rolf keeping a close eye on them, and smiled winsomely at him before turning back to the dog. "You're so beautiful, aren't you," she cooed, receiving a lick to the face for her efforts. Laughing, she put her arms around the dog and hugged her.
"They're very useful actually, and the residual magic tends to keep the dogs healthier and increase their longevity," she said, still hugging the dog who seemed to accept this all very calmly. She leant back and made a face. "She-Ra? That doesn't sound like you at all. What about something slightly punny? How about Shadow?" The dog wagged her tail and barked happily. "Shadow it is then," Susan said with a smile. "Can I buy her? Also I need everything else - dog bed, kennel, food, leash, collar, expect me to overtip."
