Dean had left his gradual progress on his three-layer painting for the day, knowing it wouldn't take any harm for a day while he worked some hours at the pub. The benefit of the pub was of course that he got fed far more easily and it also slaked his need for human contact without pushing any of his triggers very heavily. Especially if, like today, he started his shift at opening time and was done before the evening activity let out.

Handing over a pint and plate of egg and chips to a regular he hummed faintly as he wended his way back to the bar, picking up a couple of empty glasses on the way. The glasses he sent neatly towards the sink with a flick of his wand and he set about wiping down the working side of the bar. He hadn't done it yet, although the pub hadn't been open all that long so there wasn't all that much to wipe up. Still it was good for keeping his hands busy as he waited for another customer.
