Adrian was acting odd. The last time Adrian had acted odd, Alicia had been concerned that he had been coming down with something and that he had been delirious from fever, only he hadn’t. Instead he had kissed her and she had kissed him and they had smiled and stopped talking and just… it had been the start of them. And now, Adrian was acting odd again, and really? He had enough of his clothes here, in her closet, that he could actually pack a ba- Alicia’s eyebrows shot up when he began packing her clothes, too. She looked at him, considering if now was the time she called for the Janus Thickey Healers when he told her to tell her children ‘goodnight’. It wasn’t even noon yet! But, Adrian was running a fever and the kids looked excited about something, so Alicia did as he asked of her, and gave her children extra tight hugs, because they were the most amazing people in the world.

With a smile, she waved at them before she closed her eyes and felt Adrian’s arms around her. Immediately, she calmed down. She trusted him completely, and it was only now, when he was murmuring the Apparation incantation that she realized he was surprising her.

And surprised she was! Alicia opened her eyes when she felt the soft carpet under her feet. She remembered this! Looking up at Adrian her eyes were shining and her mouth open in silent, surprised laughter. “Is this…?” she asked. “Are we…? Really?”
