Rolf couldn't help but snicker quietly to himself, trying not to outright laugh at his witch because, well, she was a witch and he very much respected her spell casting abilities. And he didn't want to end up spouting bad poetry or something horrendous.
He grinned at the dog as he looked expectantly at him. "Up here, Ant," Rolf said, patting his shoulders to go through with a trick he'd more recently taught the large puppy. "Godzilla, Ant! Godzilla!" Rolf gripped the dog's scruff. They both snarled almost silently at each other, both fakely fierce, and then Rolf said, "Kisses! Kisses!" and the dog proceeded to bathe his face with his dog enthusiastically. His tail didn't stop wagging during any point in the process. "Good boy, Ant! Good boy! What a good wiggle!" He wooled his face against Ant's enthusiastically before telling the animal to get down now. Rolf clapped. "What a good boy!" He pluck a treat from a slightly damp pocket and fed it to the obedient animal.
"Now, let's pull Rosie out of the bath," he told the dog, approaching his girlfriend, grinning, and he held out his hands to her to help her out. "Up we go, love."
