Aidan had been careful not to lose his temper or have outbursts around Theo; he had seen the flinched, he knew anger was not good for the younger man. Aidan heard Theo's question, "Aye, sorry about that. I'm just nervous. I'm never nervous, I don't like this." Aidan finished tucking in his shirt, taking precaution to wear a long sleeved one; he needn't cause a fuss because of silly cats.
And then the doorbell rang. A million curses went through his mind. She was here. Aidan was never nervous around females. That fact that he was jittery now made him even more nervous. He and Theo were two peas in a pod now.
