RP: Landscaping
Who: Chris + OPEN
What: Getting to work on the front lawn.
Where: The future Fawley Orphanage
When: Monday Sept. 14th, afternoon
Rating: Most likely Gen.

It was a clear afternoon, somewhat cool but in a refreshing end-of-summer sort of way. Chris set the volunteers work with their wands, moving debris and blowing leaves and clearing paths. He worked with his hands, something about lifting and shoving and moving and the roughness of wood against his skin had always felt good. He'd love Herbology in school for this reason, and Care of Magical Creature as well. When he'd moved to Boston, he'd missed Hogwarts' open spaces, the Lake, the edge of the Forbidden Forest with it's depth and the way it seemed to sigh against the school grounds.

Stopping for a moment, he looked up and smiled toward the estate, let himself take a deep breath, and stretched his arms, his black t-shirt riding up just a bit.

This was the work that made him happiest in the world, he had no doubt.
