It was a school night, so Adrian apparated to just outside Alicia's house instead of flooing. He let himself in with his key and quietly moved through the house. It was just before midnight, so he left his cloak and shoes in the family room and made his way quietly through the dark toward Alicia's room. He'd gone out with her and her friends to the club over the weekend, but the fall was a busy time for him with potions and with her starting school and the twins doing the same -- there hadn't been much time just for them over the last couple of weeks. He missed her. He always missed her, but with the news from Richard that he might be able to fully own the property he was purchasing sooner rather than later, he had missed her more and more with each passing hour.

Adrian shucked his t-shirt and slacks before climbing into bed under the sheets, trying not to disturb her, just wanting to curl up with her for the night, knowing she had to be up early.

Alicia was still getting used to school, still bone-tired when she came home from all the new impressions, all the new people, and (re)learning so much is such short time. She loved every minute of it, but she had worked as a Healer for years, so having to sit still and learn again, that took some getting used to. As excited as the twins were about going back to school, she was grateful that they, too, were tired from all the new tasks that came from having advanced a year. So the house on Sheffield Terrace went quiet and dark early these days. Adrian being just as busy was, thus, both a blessing and a curse. Alicia knew that she couldn’t give him all the time she wanted, but she still missed him horribly, and had taken to wearing one of his shirts when she went to bed. At least then she was surrounded by his scent as she slept.

Feeling the dip of the mattress and then the warmth of a familiar body, she drifted up from her deep sleep to somewhere near awake, where she had enough sense to recognize him rather than be spooked by the unexpected presence. With a soft sigh she rolled over to snuggle up against him, slipping one foot between his thighs and her arm around his waist as she tilted her head up for a kiss.

	When Alicia rolled over into him, Adrian smiled. He kissed her back gently and whispered, "Hey, beautiful." He reached up a hand to brush hair out of her face and asked, "How was your day?" Alicia couldn’t see anything in the darkness of her bedroom – or maybe her eyes just hadn’t opened, though she was a little more awake now – but she could feel Adrian’s smile in the same way she could feel the heat of his body seeping into her own. She smiled into the kiss and gently nudged her nose against his when he whispered.

She kissed him again, her fingers gently caressing over his cheekbone to make up for not being able to see him. “Good,” she whispered as she scooted a little closer to him. “Missed you.” Her whispers were barely more than breathed words and she still wasn’t sure if her eyes were opened or closed. “I love you.”

The feel of her fingertips on his face - just a light brush - sent shivers down his spine and his smile grew. "I've missed you, too," he whispered back, and then moved to kiss her neck lightly. "Love you, too," he murmured against her skin.

He really had missed her: her smile, her jokes, the way she put him in his place. But he'd also missed her lips, and the way her leg was wrapped between his now reminded him of other things he'd missed, too.

“Oh,” Alicia breathed, arching her neck to Adrian’s kisses. Shivers coursed down her skin, settling as a dull, pleasant ache low in her belly. With everything that was going on in her everyday life it was so easy to push this need to the side. But Adrian appearing in her bed, in the middle of the night, like a dream materialized, made those desires float to the surface. Her fingers combed through his hair and then down the back of his neck to his shoulder.

When she arched and shivered, Adrian ginned as he continued kissing down her neck. "Is this..?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper now, "Is this my t-shirt?" It was an old black one of his, with the neck hole stretched out from use and he hadn't even remembered leaving it here.

His hands moved to the bottom of the tee and pushed it up, his fingers skimming her hips as he did so.

“Mmm,” Alicia hummed, her hips moving with Adrian’s hands until she was flush against him. Her hum turned into a soft chuckle as she nodded; “Mm, hmm.” Raising up just a little, she let him push the shirt further up. “Smells like you,” she murmured, moving her foot from between his legs to tickle her toes down his shin. “Yeah,” she breathed, trying to nuzzle Adrian’s temple.

	As the shirt got higher, Adrian wanted to see what he was revealing so he lifted his head and said softly a spell to light the candle she kept on her bedside table, and the room was bathed in a soft glow. Though Adrian’s lips were warm against her skin, her abdominal muscles twitched at the kiss, making her gasp softly. “Hey, handsome,” she greeted him in a low murmur when she looked down and could finally see him in the candle light. With a small smirk, she trailed the tip of her finger from the wet mark his lips had left to a point a little higher, close to her sternum. “One more, please.”

	Adrian smiled up at her perfect face and did as he was asked, kissing her long and slow right where she'd indicated. He then lifted his head and moved back up her body to kiss her long and slow on the lips. "Didn't mean to wake you," he said with a smirk. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Alicia wound an arm around Adrian’s neck and the other around his waist as he kissed her. She drew her knees out slightly to give him. “I’m not convinced this isn’t just a very,” she nipped a kiss to his lips, “very nice dream,” she smiled up at him. “Although it feels too good to be a dream, doesn’t it?” Alright, so she was tired, and maybe not making all that much sense, but her body was highly alert and aware of Adrian’s presence.
