Marietta needed to get out of her funk. She wasn't sure where it had come from but it was desperately seeping into all aspects of her life. She'd even gotten just a payment with no tip the other evening leaving nothing extra for herself once she'd settled her own costs for the evening and the portion that belonged to Romilda. Thankfully, she had a little bit of extra due to what her parents had given her for her birthday so she was able to head out to do some shopping of her own.
"It would look good on you," she forced herself to interject her opinion to a woman nearby as she browsed one of the many shops she'd been to that afternoon. It wasn't like her to speak to strangers but Marietta was learning that pushing her own boundaries was something she needed to do in order to pull herself back into society.
