Several hours later
Quiet night at work. Read some more in the office. Turned out it was the quiet neighbour. I'd never have guessed.

I'm just used to spending my time looking after other creatures! But other cultures are interesting too.

Yeah. It took him a while to warm to her, but he likes her now. I get tributes too, but they tend not to bother me unless they're in my bed or something. Or directly in my mouth when I'm asleep. That's not pleasant.
