Journal - Lazy Days
I do love a good lazy Sunday. Even though I sometimes worked even Sundays back when I was in Romania there's just something particular about being lazy on a Sunday that's comforting. Especially now it's almost always a work day.

This particular lazy Sunday has featured curling up with a book and a cat.

Time to get ready for work soon though. Put my leg on. Get rid of the extra cat hair. That sort of shit.

	~~I find it difficult to relax without letting my mind wander into-~~ What are you reading at the moment? I know a spell to get rid of cat hair, somehow. I thought there was one to stop it getting on there in the first place but I don't think magic is that powerful. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I managed to finish a good chunk of my latest mystery book today. I mostly read magical authors, but my sister sometimes talks me into of her muggle ones. Or I find something stray to pick up in a bookshop. Occasionally the shelf at the pub.

I like reading things about animals but sometimes that still feels a bit work-like. So mostly its mysteries.

Yes, I know the one you're thinking of. It's what I tend to use before going to work. In case of allergies. I've given up trying to do it at home. It just gets too much of everywhere. I think Romi manages to keep her room free because of the spell. I don't bother.

It's always good to have time to read. Have you discovered whodunit yet?
I've mixed and matched from books at the Pub too, I think it's one of Seamus' best ideas.

I've been reading a lot about the North Indian Faqirs, the magical ones, and their contribution to early wandmaking. They were supposed to be able to create a wand out of anything physical that could be wielded as a conduit. It's quite interesting.

I didn't think any magic worked on cats, but that could just be my belief in their own legend. Romi sounds like a smart lady

No, not quite yet. I've made a guess, but I'm usually wrong.

That does sound interesting. There are so many different approaches to magic around the world.

There are a few things that work as long as you keep them renewed. It gets a bit tedious, and annoying if you forget. Romi's smart, which means she also tells me off if I forget to update the wards for her room.

	Did you try the Butler? I'm really interested in wandmaking. While Ollivander's wands were good quality and stable I think they narrowed the market a little as far as the UK is concerned. ~~Oh you have different rooms? It happens to be a very traditional household: house-elf staff mostly. Seems unlikely. I thought it was the children's nanny until she started getting threatening notes, so unless she's sending them to herself it probably isn't her.

The British domination only became obvious to me when I was travelling to the various dragon reserves and I saw what others had. It differed so much.

I don't do too badly, just once in a while I forget. I can understand her being upset when Echo decides she also deserves mouse tributes.

	Maybe she is sending them to herself to draw suspicion away from here. Or she has DID? Absolutely. I think we should spend more time looking at older cultures, who knows what we'd find. Quiet night at work. Read some more in the office. Turned out it was the quiet neighbour. I'd never have guessed.

I'm just used to spending my time looking after other creatures! But other cultures are interesting too.

Yeah. It took him a while to warm to her, but he likes her now. I get tributes too, but they tend not to bother me unless they're in my bed or something. Or directly in my mouth when I'm asleep. That's not pleasant.

	If I wrote a mystery, I'd never let the reader find out who it was. Maybe frame someone but let the reader know they were framed and leave it unsolved. That's kind of you Oh, does he struggle to connect with people usually? And I can imagine not. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
