Seamus reached for a glass and poured a measure of poitÃn into the bottom of it before pausing. It was a strong tasting spirit, and a lot of his prohibition research had been about cocktails made to cover the taste of poorly distilled bootleg booze so he knew he could cover it... but he didn't know if Ron was really the sweet-sugary cocktail type. On the other hand, it was a 1920s party, and classy little cocktails were kind of expected.
In the end, Seamus grabbed vodka and ginger beer. It was a drink Dean would probably like, which seemed appropriate in its own way. "Of course he does," Seamus answered brightly, fingers slipping slightly on the glass as he missed his mark trying to add a lime wedge to the rim. "It's his birthday. How's the casual chess club going?"
