“Five minutes,” Melinda smiled up at him. “I just have to get my purse, at least.” Though as she began to move to the back of the shop, she kept a hold of Viktor’s hand, making sure that he came along with her. Back then bakery she did a quick stop and Mark just told her to go on, assuring her that he would take care of the shop and call her mother if he needed help. Oh! And she should enjoy her evening.
It only took a couple of minutes, but it felt like almost a lifetime before she could close the door to the shop behind her, and she was completely alone with Viktor in the stairwell leading up to her flat. “Hi,” she smiled up at him, suddenly feeling almost out of breath just by looking at him.
