Journal: Hermione Granger
I don't know whether to be annoyed at Crookshanks or grateful. I have no clue what he was chasing but it landed him in the middle of a stack of research on the various policies and procedures toward house elf ownership over the past one hundred years. However, knocking over the stack revealed the location of my journal which I hadn't even realized was missing.

I know I need to get these pages organized again, there's only so far that spell work can properly organize multiple documents that have been strewn. Yet, I get the feeling that if I bury myself in the task I may not come up for air again for at least three days.

I tend to err on the side of both when animals do something both annoying and useful.

Take half a day, Hermione. You don't want to burn out.

That does tend to be the safest response.

I'll take the rest of the day once I get this stack sorted.

Do not work too hard, my friend!

Is it considered work if I enjoy it?

I think it might! Too much of a good thing, da?

Possibly, still I have to be true to myself and reaching my goals.

If you insist on working so much and so hard, at least take time for lunch with a friend. Consider this an invitation.

That is an invitation I believe I can accept. Which day this week would you prefer?

It doesn't matter; I get an hour lunch every day. Friday may be the only day not available due to a game (those players keep us on our toes).

Your work ethic makes me envious.

Don't be. Sometimes it's more of a nagging than an ethic.
