Angie had headed for choir practice damp from the shower she'd taken after training. Normally she would have changed into something bright, maybe even a dress, but with the prospect of going out on her bike she'd stuck to comfortable, practical clothes and was carrying her leather jacket, leaving her broom and work gear in her locker for once. The few things she wanted and needed for the evening were in a bag she could easily slip in the panniers.
Choir had been fun and by the time she headed back down the stairs she was still humming the last song they'd been practicing despite chatting to a couple of the other members for a few minutes. She headed over to the bar and asked where she could find Dominic, bag and jacket in one hand. When she was pointed in the right direction, without bothering to grab her usual drink she walked over with a spring in her step.
He looked rather absorbed in what he was doing and she tried to make it obvious as she approached. He looked faintly familiar and probably not that different in age from herself, so she'd probably seen him around school. He might even have been in her house. "Hello, you're Dominic, right? I'm Angelina."
