A slightly hastily made birthday card arrives along with half of the batch of the cupcakes he made to torment Seamus.

I might have forgotten your birthday until reminded. Sorry. On the plus side I'd made cake anyway. So: present! They're Rum and Banana with Cinnamon topping.

Huge apologies if he owl bites, he can be a bit grumpy. That might just be with Seamus though. Also for forgetting your birthday.
