Katie had spent most of the day packing and repacking. She hoped something would cone through by the beginning of September so she could get a place of her own and not feel like a burden, even though she knew she wasn't. She was dressed similarly to Ginny- jeans and t-shirt - and walked into the pub. She let her eyes adjust a minute and looked for a familiar red head, finally spotting her at the bar.
"Hey Gin," Katie said, nearing the bar, and sitting to the spot right of Ginny once there. "Happy birthday."
