Dear Marcus,

I'm sure you're tired of hearing and reading condolences, and I know I gave you mine at your mother's funeral. Instead, I thought you might enjoy something else. In the packages are a shepherd's pie (although I'm sure you've received your fair share of food these last few days, I know a little more can't hurt. After all, it's nice to know you don't have to cook a meal when handling the death of a loved one), a crocheted blanket, and a crocheted hat, scarf, and glove set for winter.
