I never claimed to have handled the war perfectly. I didn't start Battlescars because I thought I was some big damn hero who could help everybody else get over the war. I started it because I thought we all needed people to talk to, people who would understand. It doesn't always have to be me. And I do understand, too well. If I'd been brave things would be so different now.
