"It'd be nice to have some help, given I'm generally the only one running that part of the shop." And there were some things where two sets of hands would be greatly appreciated. Plus she did think she had a lot to offer to an apprentice, and it could free her up to do more of other things she wanted to do. Like dueling and such. "The shop makes enough that I could pay some, though of course apprentices only make a portion. I think I can afford one at this point." A year ago? No way. But she'd gotten more income from her other things now, and she wasn't totally reliant on her aunt, and she'd also gotten some more money from the woman as she'd gained more independence.
"I travel some, but not like I used to," she said. "Used to it was a different place every week or two." But it had been stressful on its own, with no close friends to support her.
