Ron Weasley ([info]gingerkeeper) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
Megan's brow furrowed slightly at the offer of his business card. A forced grimace contorted at her mouth forming what she hoped looked like a cordial smile. But in reality it most definitely read suspicion and mild judgement. In her brain this conversation should have simply ended in a chuckle and a cordial farewell - not some sort of formal exchange of contact information. So ....strange... And who offers their business card in an attempt to have fun? Surely, the only people that came to mind who would end this conversation in such a manner were in the trade of "fun" of the nude variety.

A chuckle of amusement and her natural defense mechanism for awkward situations followed. She reached for his card and gave it a courtesy glance on either side. A silent beat passed between them as she did so.

"Or," she finally offered as she finished the last of her tea and stood with handbag in tow. "You contact me when a need for entertainment turns up." As she walked passed him she placed his card on the table in front of him. "Besides, it's more fun if the balls in your court," she finished her final statement as she took a few steps backwards - a cheeky grin and shrug offered in his direction before turning on her heel toward the exit.

Megan Jones wasn't particularly one to call blokes for a good time. Certainly not when she wasn't actively looking for that sort of thing in her life anyway. So, if Richard were truly serious about his challenge offer to have some fun some time... he'd have to do a little more work than a passive handoff of fancy card stock.
