"Hi, yeah." Gods, Genie felt awkward, like she hadn't felt in a long time. She vaguely recognized Alicia from Gryffindor and from around the Alley and such. She tugged on a curl. "I'd like to talk to someone about interfacing with Hogwarts on behalf of an incoming student." She'd rehearsed the words, but it was harder to say, to be vague, than she'd thought it would be. But then, Owen's secret was her secret as well.
She took Alicia's hand and shook firmly, careful of her strength. Her skin was a little warmer than most people's, running hot as always from her affliction. She glanced around. "Is there a little more private of a spot to talk?" she asked, knowing it would put her in a more vulnerable position but needing to know she wouldn't be easily overheard. It was bad enough someone or ones was going to find out about her pack without worrying that the world could hear about it.
