TRADING UP: CAPPER FOR CAPTAIN!
By Lysander Bagman
Rowan Capper is confident he can fill the void left by Graham Wyedean next season by replacing the popular Chaser as captain.
Capper has already taken a tour of British Quidditch leagues, having played for Ballycastle Bats, Caerphilly Catapults and — lately — Montrose Magpies. It almost seemed the keeper would never stay anywhere long enough to be promoted to captain, despite his years of league play. Negotiations have been fierce, but it was announced yesterday that 32-year-old Capper would resign the piebald Magpies kit to take up his new colours.
"I'm excited to take on a new challenge," Capper said yesterday. "I've loved playing for Montrose, and I've learned a lot about leadership. I'm confident I can take Tutshill to new heights next season."
Die-hard Tutshill fans seem skeptically supportive. "I was sure it would go to someone already on the team," said Weird Sisters bagpiper Gideon Crumb. "I've been a lifelong Tutshill fan, and I don't know if I approve of bringing in a captain from an opposing team."
Only time will tell whether Capper can win over his new team's fans. We at the Daily Prophet wish him all the best.

[Warded to Marcus] Apparently I have a date for Shauna's wedding. Mother says it's not necessary for me to contact him beforehand as he's already agreed, but it seems strange to me. What do you think?
