Journal
My eyes are about crossed from researching obscure texts, and I feel utterly spent from all the spellwork I'm doing at the shop. I might have to consider an assistant or an apprentice, because even my stamina is starting to wear a little bit thin.

It would help if I could sleep more at night.

I think I need a vacation, but I have too much going on to take a proper one. And who would go -- Gods am I always going to be alone

I'll have to figure something out. Maybe there's something fun closer to home that I can do.

Take a break and come enjoy the final night of Pride at Wingbeat.

Alcohol probably isn't the best idea in my mood.

I might come out and see what's going on.

There's good music and dancing. Lots of pretty colours, too.

I know you may not know me, and while I'm familiar with your Charm work, I don't know you, but I'm Alicia Fawley and I work with the Fawley Foundation. I saw your post and wondered if you would consider contacting me if you decide to take on an apprentice?

I am serious about getting someone. I'm pulled too thin at the moment, and it wouldn't hurt to see if an apprentice would have me, so long as they're skilled enough. So consider me highly interested.

Well, in that case, I would like to hear if you would meet with one of "my" boys? He just finished Hogwarts with Os in all of his N.E.W.T.s, among which are both Charms, Transfiguration, and History of Magic. He's a really sweet boy, who's been through a lot and just wants help out wherever he can and better himself in any way possible.

I'd love to do an interview. If I'm agreeable (unless he's vastly different than you say, I don't see that happening) and he is as well (there will be some things he should know before he settles on me, and probably you as well), then I'd be happy to offer at least a trial apprenticeship to make sure it's a fit. He sounds like a good boy, and smart and hardworking are the main qualities I'm looking for.

Genie, Charlie and I have been looking into fun stuff to do in the UK. I'd be happy to take you on a trip somewhere, if you find something you're interested in doing.

I would be interested in joining things on occasion, if you'd have me. What sorts of things have you found?

Course we would. We'd talked about going to one of the muggle safari or wildlife parks in my car.

Speaking of, I'm happy just to drive you around some pretty countryside sometime to take your mind off work and give you something else to think about.

I'd be up for any of that, or even just the ride. I've just got to figure out a way to get out more and stop working all the time. It's really wearing on me at this point.

You need a vacation! Take one, even if its staying in a hotel on the other side of town for a week. It'll really help you relax.

Vacation? What is this strange thing you speak of?

I'm actually quite lost when I don't have work to do, unless I'm buried in my research. Hard to get my brain to stop thinking about everything.

I am the exact same way but I was more or less forced into it; I still somehow found time to work though the change in scenery helped my stress levels.

It can. I'm going to France for a couple days to help out a friend; maybe I'll do something once I'm back too.
