Mentally speaking, Tristan was in a strange place. Although he was currently calm, the night before he'd been anything but, thanks mostly to certain patrons. None had necessarily done anything directly to him. It was more what they represented, and it didn't help that he had time to let his thoughts fester. All these people were here to celebrate, and all he wanted to do was go home and sleep. He didn't care that he was gay, that this was a community he could feel accepted in. He doubted he'd feel accepted in any community once it found out who he was, or who he'd been. That thought had eaten at his brain all last night, had disallowed him sleep. It clung to the back of his brain even then, though the various influxes of people wanting to check cloaks, coats, jumpers, and jackets helped keep it from getting overwhelming. Just when he thought it might come creeping back round front thanks to a lull, footsteps and a compliment caught his attention, and he looked up, a little startled.
"Thank you," Tristan said with a small smile, automatically reaching up to tuck a few strands of his rainbow charmed hair. The rest of his attire consisted black jeans (who knew they came in colours other than blue?), a black t-shirt with a long sleeved red flannel shirt over it (to keep his arms discretely covered), red boots, and his Wingbeat identification lanyard (which he realised went well with his outfit after he'd headed to work that night). He'd not been in the mood to wear anything particularly "Pride-like," but the idea of charming his hair had appealed to him. It helped disguise who he was, just in case, and, honestly, it was fun, especially since his hair'd grown out a bit more the past few months.
"Do, ah, would you like to check your jumper?" he asked, wondering if he should have said something else first. But what would he say? Hi. Welcome to Wingbeat's Pride celebration. Are you here to check up on me? Honestly, Bryce could have been there simply to enjoy the club, to enjoy the community, to enjoy Pride. He thought that was especially likely given his shirt. Still, he was a little nervous, though he wasn't 100% sure it had to do with Bryce showing up unexpected at the club.
