Ginny (+ Jane) + Open
Ginny had told her brother she'd be supporting him at Pride night at Wingbeat, and she'd meant it. Despite being 100% straight (she knew that she'd always really liked boys), she loved that the club had regular LGBTQ+ nights for the community and was especially proud of her brother, that he ran the club and that he was open about himself in such personal ways.
Never having been to Pride before, Ginny wasn't sure quite what to expect, but she'd gone shopping with Jane and bought a glittery purple dress (purple was the Pride color, right?) and put her hair up in a high ponytail to look more fun than usual. The dress was far more fancy and girly and, well, showy than anything she'd normally wear, but the night felt like the right time for it.
And so she stepped carefully behind Jane into Wingbeat, ginger in heels taller than any others she owned, and hoped her older brother wouldn't be put off by her dress.
After grabbing a vodka soda from the bar, she seated herself at a cocktail table and crossed her legs demurely, waiting for Jane to join her from the restroom.
