When he spoke, she spun, her cheeks coloring in embarrassment. He'd clearly seen the wonder on her face. "I've been here during matches, of course, but never flown here," sometimes she questioned whether she'd made the right decision going into coaching instead of trying out for a team, moments like this, in fact.

"Thank you," she said sincerely, looking Oliver right in the face, despite her nerves at doing so. Shaking herself slightly, she asked less tensely, "Do you come fly much when you're not on the clock?" She knew Wood practiced a lot - more than a lot of the pros she'd worked with, even - but wondered if he ever just flew for the fun of it anymore.
