"Ve vill haff to go sometime," he said, enjoying the thought of making future plans with her as well as of a trip like that. He could see them doing something with the kids for a day, and then maybe taking a day for themselves. He loved his children beyond words, but sometimes it was nice to get a few hours away, at least, and be a grown up with someone he was falling for very quickly.

"I think I am liking this plan very much," he said. His fingers squeezed hers gently, though his foot scooted over farther and nudged hers playfully. "But for now, I am enjoying this." His grin grew a little, and he brought her hand to his lips, letting his lips linger over her fingers. "So we relax like at the beach, the sand in our toes."
