Bryony was... uncomfortable somehow, he thought. He wasn't sure, but he had the feeling, and he was generally pretty good at reading general body language even if the specifics and minutiae sometimes escaped him. So he focussed on her words and nodded his thanks at the part she was most comfortable with. "Thank you. I was actually pleased with how it turned out, but it took a lot of work to get there. I think what I'm trying to say is I'm sure your sister will appreciate whatever you produce."
"Yeah, I think it is, but kids love them," he said. "And to be honest a lot of adults do too, because of them being associated with children and childhood, and they're usually actually really good films," he said. He wasn't entirely sure himself why they were so popular but he definitely felt the need to defend the culture he'd grown up in. "I think it fits with a lot of children's books having illustrations in too, it's sort of a logical extension?" He knew there were definitely wizarding books which were illustrated, including children's ones. He'd come across a few of those at least. He was half tempted to suggest they see a film at some point so he could show her what he meant about how great they were, but he had no idea how well that might go down, so he refrained.
