My night shifts this month have almost made me nocturnal, but I managed to enjoy a nice bit of sunshine this afternoon in the garden at my parents' house. It's one of my favourite places, so it was especially nice to have good weather. Plus, of course, some excellent cake.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.
