"I tried to offer to help, but you know Mum," he said with a shrug. He had also tried to steal food, but that had never gone well. They'd get called in when it was time for setting the table. Actually since Molly had a tendency to fuss and worry still Charlie probably wouldn't be called in until food was about to go on the table.
He returned Ginny's hug warmly. "Yeah, that only got odd after I moved out post-leg. It was pretty fucking obvious I'd moved out when I was in Romania and there were non-Hogwarts mountains out of the bloody window!" He swigged his juice and grinned. "You've gotta learn something, I mean you can always come over to mine and I can show you some basics, or convince Mum you need to fend for yourself," he said. "Sure, sure," he said, waving her off and going back to just listening to the noises of his childhood home, still slightly fuzzy and sleepy around the edges.
"Kinda sleepy, but, you know, not bad. Busy," he said, stifling a bit of a yawn part way through. "I didn't wake up with Echo on my head, so that's a damn decent start."
