Journal -- Zacharias Smith
I've completely given up on that one book club, and I don't have the personality to lead my own

Found an interesting book at the communal bookcase at Finnigan's the other day. The Spook's Apprentice. Definitely Muggle, and definitely still new. I'm going to keep it. I enjoyed it. I wonder when the next one comes out. I suppose I'll have to stop by a bookstore after work and ask.

I had a look on the internet, but I can't find an official answer. The next book is going to be called The Spook's Secret and it'll either be out at the end of next month or summer 2006.

I could e-mail the publisher for you, if you like, see if I can get a definite answer.

You don't have to, especially if you're busy, though I appreciate any information regardless. Thank you.

Too busy to compose an e-mail? My life isn't that far gone, thank god! I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Well, I never know how long it takes people to write formal correspondences or how busy they may be. Thank you.

That is one I don't think I've read.

Have you ever met a book you didn't enjoy?

Hogwarts: A History?

I'm sure there are some.

Okay, let me re-phrase: have you ever met a book you didn't like that you were reading solely for pleasure, rather than because you had to for one reason or another.

(I'm pretty sure the answer is 'no', by the way.)

I can't currently think of one, but I'm sure there's at least one out there.
