Lucy grinned, pleased to note the genuine satisfaction in his voice. "Congratulations," she said. "I shall recommend you to all my clients." She tried to keep a straight face as she said it, but it didn't really work. The idea of herself having important business clients still seemed weird. She wasn't 100% convinced she was cut out for the kind of work Rich and Millicent did, nor was she sure she really wanted to do quite that job. For now, though, it was good money and she was grateful. "And I'll look over the books for you, free of charge provided I get to taste your new recipes first."
She moved closer to the counter, not sure if they were going to eat in here or if there was a kitchen attached. "I'm almost scared to put these down," she said, hefting the bottles with one hand. "But I figure since you're not open to the public yet we won't be breaking any licensing laws if we have a drink with lunch."
