"Hey," Lucy answered, smiling up at him. She leaned in, despite the back of cider, for a sort of one-armed side hug. "I'm good. Still getting used to my new work schedule, but I think I'm finally making the most of it. I had to work Saturday this week anyway, so I'm taking today off. You've got me all afternoon if you want."

Once inside, she looked around the space. It didn't look quite finished, but still both casual and charming. "This is great!" she said, forgetting all about her supposed mission to feel out where things were going with Bryn in her enthusiasm. "Do you love it?"
