I know sometimes it's easier just to "stop", but we're Ravenclaws, we can't stop even if we try.

Anything you want to talk about?

does it really matter do you really care does anyone do i

that sounds oddly like a gryffindor motto like something theyd tell each other in their gryffindor huddles of encouragement and pumpery to pump themselves up before doing gryffindor things like helping little old witches cross the road or rescuing kittens from trees or running into burning buildings because they forgot theyve got magic and can use their wands to put out the fire

i dont know i dont think so but im a ghost so im sure ill think of something eventually

I don't mean we don't stop. I mean we don't stop thinking. Which you're an expert at not stopping at, it seems.

And I must admit, I just snorted water at that description of Gryffindors because Merlin, yes.

thats because thats how they are with all their waving of wands and windmills and bravado and pomp and circumstance and need to save the world and i mean they arent all bad but my goodness theyre also very disturbingly brash and bold and how do they ever manage to work as a team i dont get it there is no i in team but there certainly is in gryffindor

Wouldn't that mean you stopped existing when you were asleep? I've seen people sleep and they're still there.

I don't dream every night. Pretty sure I still exist.

Of course not. Though I do believe that when one stops actively thinking that they are likely to lose any drive toward a purpose for existing.

this sounds like a conversation that will lead to an existential crisis...

That or an oxymoron, how can one cease to exist from lack of thinking if they are actively thinking about the idea?
