Dean looked suspiciously at Seamus. "I'm really not sure I want that, even if it might explain what's so hilarious," he said. He took the opportunity of Seamus leaning away again to lean forward and grab the plate with his remaining chips on it so he could eat them while they talked. "Yeah, it can be fun," he agreed. He didn't like the loss of control very often, but he definitely enjoyed drinking when he felt safe. With one thing and another he hadn't really been that drunk since his birthday, but he really didn't mind. "That could actually be good," he said after a second or two. With that sort of guest list he'd even happily get drunk himself, although he'd probably have to stay with Seamus because getting to his flat while drunk was always a bloody tricky prospect.
"Yeah, I know what you mean, I mean we can still have food but I definitely don't feel like a grown up most of the time, might as well play with that," he said. He sighed too, sometimes the responsibilities which came with being a grown up were more than he wanted to deal with. "That was a good holiday. Not sure I'd want to do Murder in the Dark any more, but we could play stupid children's games. The alcohol can only improved them. And besides, you were always far too good at managing to kill me when you were the murderer!" he complained.
