There had been something true about Adrian’s observation that this season went out with a fizzle. Most likely it had to do with neither of the teams Alicia really cared about reached the final. Neither did Isla’s… or Adrian’s… or Oliver’s. But that didn’t mean that the final match should be wasted, and making it more of a social thing by listening to it at the pub was a great way to go about that.

While not exactly late, the pub was still filled when Alicia and Adrian showed up, so lacing her fingers through his, she began weaving her way through the people while trying to spot Oliver.
