Re: Melinda and Viktor (and OPEN)
The game had been intense. His Chasers were as on point as they ever had been, though he was going to urge to recruit heavily and he was going to work them to within an inch of their lives during the off season, but they were doing quite well, for them, at this last game. He was as interactive in the game as ever, while his ever sharp eyes kept a look out for the snitch.

He caught it with a fancy loop that kept him well ahead of his competition, and heart pounding, he could finally cheer. He had worked so hard this year for this -- to win the championship. And he had. Heart still pounding, he landed along with everyone else, the Snitch still held in his hand.

It was a milling mess of people, some fans and the players and family and everything. But after a few minutes, his eyes found Melinda and they stopped looking for anyone else. He closed the distance as well with a few long strides. His arms wrapped around her and lifted her from the ground a bit as he kissed her, his happiness at winning mingling with his happiness to know that she had attended and she was here to see this victory. It might be 'just a game,' but it was a game he had made his life on, and it was important to him. He smiled against her lips, letting his happiness communicate itself to her.
