His kisses made her smile, though, and she lightly sipped her wine as he left her to look out on the view of Monument Alley from above. On the street below she could see all sorts of people milling about: a group in smart robes leaving Finnigan's after post-work drinks, someone closing up a shop, a couple heading into Quickpulse hand in hand.
She was still busy watching when Cormac reappeared. Lavender turned to him with a smile. "Yes, and the people watching too. I didn't get to appreciate the view so much last time."
