Rolf and OPEN

Rolf was using the fete as an excuse to trot out a bunch of his most amiable animals and a few others. A mini petting zoo existed with a couple of volunteers over to one side, animals he'd borrowed or even had up for adoption, not just cats and dogs either. And then he had a few of those, and he had a few that had tricks doing them every so often especially for the kids.

It meant he didn't have much time to explore, since he didn't want anyone responsible for the animals who he didn't absolutely trust, but that was all right. Already he'd made a couple of adoptions and lined up a couple of appointments for more potential ones.

He currently had a kitten on his head and a dog on a leash off to one side watching his hand avidly for the next treat he might dole out for a trick, but he was resting. And, well, figuring out how to get the kitten off his head.

Hyperion had spent much of the morning wandering around Hogsmeade with an odd sense of comfort at the surrounds - even if the exact reason for the fete left a little nugget of sadness in his chest. He'd stopped played his hand at a few of the different games of chance, visited the fortune teller, and had a long conversation with several of the villagers in Gaelic - most of which had consisted of his new scars being fussed over.

He was however now hungry, and so was heading vaguely towards the tent he'd seen with cakes in it earlier when he stopped and looked at the vaguely familiar man with the kitten on his head. He paused, tilting his head in consideration. It was fairly likely, in Hyperion's opinion at least, that the kitten probably wasn't meant to be on the man's head. Still, years of etiquette lessons had drilled into him a proclivity to be open to such idiosyncrasies. "Hello," he said with a warm smile. "I'm fairly certain that you'd be aware that there's a cat on your head, but would you like me to grab it for you?"
