Re: Face Painting (Dean & Seamus)
Despite Seamus' enthusiasm about his face being signed Dean didn't bother adding it in. It seemed odd for such a temporary piece of art to be signed, no matter how proud of it he was. "I might do it and take a picture later for my portfolio," he said, suddenly settling upon the idea and not wanting to forget what Seamus looked like.
He shuffled around the pots of paint into an less cluttered order and set about cleaning the various brushes out in first water and then the sealed jar of potion hidden under the table everyone was using between sessions. It was the quickest and easiest way to make sure each artist could use whichever brushes they wanted for whichever paints. Yes, they had brought their own brushes, but mostly they were marked somehow and everyone was sharing a bit. He brought his head up at the admonition from Seamus, glanced at the money he'd put down and gave Seamus a look which was supposed to be mildly admonishing, but possibly was slightly ruined by his current phoenix-painted face and the fact he appreciated the gesture. He did one last visual sweep and nodded. "Right, Mr. Walking Artwork, I'm good to go," he said with a grin, jumping to his feet.
"Sorry folks, my turn is over. Barnabas here is taking over," he said, as they wandered past the shortish queue of people waiting for their faces to be painted.
