Re: Alicia and Adrian and OPEN
“I hope not,” Alicia said with a small scoff, though she was still smiling pensively. “They have entirely too much power as it is I’d hate to think they can control the weather as well.” She looked up at him, and instantly her smile turned warm and loving.
As hard as it was for her to be here today, both with the memories and the lack thereof and the loss of her friends and family, she believed it had to be harder for Adrian. Considering who his friends had been and some still were, she was certain that he had lost friends too, only despite the Ministry’s supposed efforts to honour everybody today, there just didn’t seem to be sent all that much official honour in the direction of those who had fallen while fighting on the side of Voldemort. Loss of life was always sad, but even Alicia had to admit that she hadn’t shed many tears for them… then again, she hadn’t known any of them other than by name. For Adrian, however, it had to be different, and with his family’s history…
She couldn’t be prouder of him for doing this or more grateful for going here with her if for no other reason than it meant something to her. “Let’s go get some coffee before we get swamped my teenagers again.”
