Dean's plan for the decorations for the mask was coming together nicely as he worked, edging the shape first and adding a couple of shadows to make it look more like it was an actual mask. Then he switched for a really dark green and started to add swirling lines that were something of a cross between vines and leaf stems. Part way through he suddenly remembered he request for the scale-like stencil and picked it up to try and work it in around the edges and perhaps across her eyes.
"The concentration is keeping me distracted, which is a start," he said, which was certainly true enough. "Can you close your eyes a sec?" he asked, wobbling the stencil sheet slightly to show what he was intending to do.
It took a minute or two to get it looking right, trying to marry the scales and the flowering vines so it made sense for her to have scaled eyelids, but he got there, his slight frown as he leaned back and assessed turning slowly to a slow nod.
