Re: Face Painting (Dean & Seamus)
Seamus watched with interest as the brush swept up and down his nose - only stopping when he noticed Dean smiling. He grinned back and tried hard to resist the impulse to wrinkle his nose. He twisted the inlay of his thumb ring around instead, first one way and then another.
It was hard not to nod in response to Dean's comments - but Seamus managed to keep his head still. "I did! She was much more impressive than Trelawney, all dim lit with candles and a deck of fancy cards." She hadn't actually done anything with the cards, beyond shuffling them, occasionally spreading them out on the table in a fan arrangement. Seamus had quite fancied them. His own decks of cards were painfully normal-looking, and he hadn't got into chocolate frog cards in any big way so these were definitely cooler. "She's going to send a proper fortune on Tuesday, but she talked about walking in a forest and something about not walking alone..." Seamus shrugged. It had all been pretty vague, but Seamus had never really felt he walked alone anyway - he had Dean and Susan and all his other friends by his side.
"I think I can cope with the hardship of washing my hair," Seamus replied, briefly sticking his tongue out in Dean's direction. "I do actually shower most days, I'll have you know."
