Dominic and Open
Dominic didn't like Victis Honor day. His instinct was to stay holed up in his workspace tinkering with something that would absorb him completely until the day was over. He had plenty of private projects that would fit the bill, in various stages of completion.
On the other hand, the only thing worse than Victis Honor day was having other people know that he didn't like Victis Honor day. He'd got up early, had breakfast and then apparated to Hogsmeade to see if the duelling club needed any help setting up. Once they'd sent him away, satisfied with the preparations, he'd decided to make a small tour of the village - both to see what was available and to make sure he was seen. He didn't want to give anyone (Seamus) an excuse to check in and make sure he was okay.
Some time later, he emerged from the dim interior of the fortune-teller's tent into the bright sunlight. He stepped out of the entry way sideways to make space for the next customer to pass - and managed to step right into someone. "Sorry," he apologised quickly. "I should wait for my eyes to adjust before doing anything as complicated as moving."
