RP: Hiking
Who: Genie and Oliver

What: Hiking

Where: wherever they decided to go hiking and climbing

When: Tuesday April 28, afternoon?

Rating: SFW for now

Genie, unlike some people, had absolutely no problem arranging to do things with people she didn’t know in the least. This was evidenced by the drive she’d taken with Dominic and Melinda as well as a few other things she’d gotten into since she’d moved back to London with her pack.

Hiking was something she had a lot of endurance for. A nice pair of hiking boots, a tank top with a shirt to go over it if needed, and a small pack with a water bottle and some other sundries. She met him at the agreed-upon location with a jaunty stride and a cheerful grin. “Hey you. Think you can keep up with me?” she called to him, winking playfully.

“But yes. Hi! I’m Genie, it’s great to meet you, want to go hiking?”

Much like Genie, Oliver never met a strange when it came to arranging and participating in activities, especially when they involved physical fitness. The winter had finally given way into a rather enjoyable spring, and he wanted to take as much advantage as possible before the muggy summer set in.

Oliver loved hiking, thus he had a pair of trusty and well worn-in dark brown boots, an old, frayed but very light white t-shirt with the faded letters of an old, formerly popular British pop band, and his trusty muggle backpack (which he'd argue was just as roomy and less expensive than the magical version) filled with everything from band-aids and aspirin to plant-identifying-guides and emergency rations.

"Hey there!" Oliver responded, assuming she wasn't just some stranger. "I don't know, you're small so you're probably very quick." He was only half serious. Upon confirmation this was the correct person, Oliver nodded and introduced himself. "Yes, I'm definitely ready for this!"

"Moi? Small?" Genie laughed. Certainly she was thin, and fit, but she was on the tallish side. "But I can profess that I am much faster than I seem." And she had the endurance of a wolf, which meant she could keep on going for a very long time when the circumstances demanded. She grinned at him. She could be competitive, though she wasn't being so now.

"Awesome. Did you have a game plan for a path or what, or are we just striking out randomly?" she asked. Neither way bothered her particularly, she was good for whatever he thought of or of just choosing a direction or path and going.
