Rose listened intently, her eyes on Susan, observing keenly everything about the other witch, trying to pick up on anything that could give her a bit of a clue as for how to go about this. Drawing up her knee she rested her elbow on top of it and dangled her wineglass idly from her fingers.
She cleared her throat. “So basically you were being you, Eddie was being Eddie and you ended up being idiots about it?” she asked, then chuckled, not unkindly, rather amused and a little shocked. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that.
