RP: Sunday afternoon at the shops
Who: Romilda + OPEN What: Romilda wanders Diagon & Monument Alley Where: London When: Sunday 26th April, afternoon Rating: SFW
The day was chilly but Romilda was enjoying the clear air anyway. She'd decided some retail therapy was in order as she still didn't know what to say to her parents about Franklin and her mother wasn't one to take 'no' as an answer. And so Romilda had started at the bookstore on Diagon and picked up a couple new wizarding romance novels, their front covers showing women being ravished with looks of rapture on their faces. One in particular Romilda couldn't wait to begin reading - the front photo was of a dashing, dangerous looking businessman in a stark black suit, his secretary leaning over his desk in a short pencil skirt and a coquettish look on her face.
From Flourish and Blotts, she'd stopped into Amanuensis Quills quickly to buy her father a nice gift, hoping to butter him up to join her side in the current scrap with her Mum. Then it was off to Twilfitt and Tatting's for a dress robe fitting to make herself feel beautiful. Her mind wandered to Franklin and if he might invite her to wear this lovely new robes to a benefit of some sort - he'd often brought his ex to them, she knew. That put her into a slight funk though, as she left the store, and so she turned on Monument and stopped into Finnigan's for a quick bite to eat before moving on. She wouldn't let former relationships bother her - that wasn't her style, then again this whole 'relationship' thing in general wasn't exactly her style, so this was all entirely new anyway.
After her afternoon snack, Romi made her way down the Alley toward Inside and Out thinking she might find some new trinket or a pretty purse. Heading in that direction she smiled at a couple of friendly faces and waved into the windows at her own shop before heading a familiar voice and turning to say hello.
